About Us
Combining Passion and Experience
My journey in glass artwork began about 30 years ago. I took a stained-glass summer course at the local high school. This was the coolest thing ever. It was like doing a puzzle and making the pieces out of glass, then getting them to fit together. Yes, That got me hooked! I went on to take classes at a stained-glass shop. There I mastered the art of copper foil. My next adventure was to master the art of leaded stained-glass windows. I met Sandra Berger, the Owner of Qunital Studio’s www.quintalstudio.com. From Sandra, I learned the technique of leaded glass, wall sculptures and free-standing glass sculptures.
Currently, I make windows using copper-channel. This method is different from your traditional leaded stained-glass windows.
The idea for my jewelry came from years of experience in glass art. Left-over glass pieces from my window creations are used to fabricate earrings and pendants. Each piece of jewelry is a one-of-a-kind stained-glass mini sculpture.
